Work Days

Spring Work Day 2025!

Come join in the fun of getting our campground ready for another summer of ministry with our children, youth, and adults!

What will we be doing?  We’ll set up the waterfront beach, prepare the cabins, organize the craft room closets, and continue to clean up from this spring’s wild weather. Plus, Becca has some exciting projects for us to upgrade a few spots on our campground.

Who is welcome? All ages and skill levels are welcome and needed.

What should I bring? Bring your tools, water bottle, and work gloves.

Will there be food?  Of course!  We’re Disciples! Breakfast goodies and lunch will be provided.

When does it end?  Typically, we work until around 2:00pm, but folks come and go to fit their schedules. We’re thankful for any amount of time you can come serve with us.

What if we want to help, but can’t come on April 26? Contact Camp Manager Becca to schedule a day when your group can help with a project. (502) 330-5261 (cell)

Thanks for a Great Fall Work Day 2024!

What a fun and impactful work day we had today! Our light rain turned into a beautiful fall day for completing tons of projects around the camp–ramps and boats moved, windows washed, blinds installed, craft closet organized, rails reinforced, tread strips installed in showers, faucet fixed, windows covered, trails improved, towel hooks installed, pantry cleaned out, photos labeled, benches stored, waterfront winterized, more bunk bed trays and baskets attached, leaves blown, porches swept, mattress covers put on beds, lunch cooked, dishes washed, future projects assessed, and lots, lots more. What a hard-working crew! Thank you to folks from Benton First Christian, Eastwood Christian (Tn.), Madisonville First Christian, Mayfield First Christian, Paducah First Christian, Princeton First Christian, Potluck Church, our staff, and Bailey the dog for coming out to help make it a great work day!
